Since I was a child I have always been fascinated with colors and landscapes occurring in nature. When I see clouds or a sunset, I see the shapes and the movement, but color stands out to me most. Through the art I create I capture the beauty and simplicity of nature, while making a piece practical enough to fit into an everyday space.
The medium used is watercolor on canvas, and some acrylic paint. Most of the pieces I create are finished with an epoxy resin. The process begins with applying the watercolor paint and then adding water and letting the colors mix together on their own while allowing the canvas partially take control of the movement of the paint.
The method I use is as follows. Watercolor paint is applied to the canvas. By adding water and letting the colors mix together, the canvas partially takes control of the movement of the paint. Epoxy resin is applied to finish.
