Self-taught photographer based in Birmingham, Alabama. I have been taking photographs since I received my first camera at the age of twelve. My initial subjects were family, friends and pets. My interest soon grew to include nature, architecture and odd objects. I am a life-long lover of photography, color, geometrical shapes, lines, texture, abstract art and nature. In 2014, I discovered a way to combine my love of photography and abstract art when I learned the technique of layering photographs with other photographs, texture, and color to create an abstract piece of digital art. I enjoy the challenge of combing different photographs to make one of a kind digital art. My love of live music, art, hiking, cooking and traveling all influence my photography and my creative process. In 2019, Publix commissioned four original pieces of digital art to hang in the entrance of the Publix store in Mountain Brook Village. The art work I created for Publix is still on display today.
