Abi Brewer is a mixed media painter based in Tuscaloosa, AL. Her work explores identity, memory, and culture through whimsical depictions of nature and the human form. Influenced by her Chinese heritage, fairytales, and a background in ballet, she blends oil paint and watercolors with gold leaf and fabric—often incorporating vintage silks—to weave personal history into each piece. Since founding Abi Brewer Fine Art in 2022, she has exhibited regionally, led community workshops, and continues to create work that invites reflection on the layered experiences that shape us. She is currently a studio artist at the Kentuck Art Center.
