After receiving a bachelor’s degree in fine arts in interior design from George Washington University and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I worked at several highly reputed firms in Washington D.C. that provided me with unique experience. I gathered invaluable knowledge of design and art through numerous complex multi-cultural projects. After I moved to Birmingham, Alabama for my husband’s work, I took some time off from my professional career and decided to only do part-time consulting while being a full-time mom to spend time with my kids. However, during this period, I visited a lot of art shows, museums and read books about jewelry in my leisure and found the urge to use my inherent creativity rising more and often. Over time, an unexpected drive allowed me to reinvent myself and follow my passion in making jewelry and I have been doing that since 2008. I have decided to create my Jewelry line with the idea of making “one-of-a-kind” pieces. My jewelry has a lot of different techniques involved in creating “INLAY” fusion jewelry with stones of various shapes and designs from different places, with an attempt to blend the western and Asian themes. Sometimes, I also design custom jewelry for my clients who have a “purpose” or “moment” but need unique designs to support the theme. I also have had vendors who have wanted to put the unique pieces in their stores.unique pieces in their stores.
