We work primarily with copper, crafting both functional and decorative objects. We use traditional methods of fabrication such as shears, brakes, and slip rolls, along with hand hammering to create a variety of shapes and forms. We also use flame coloring, buffing, and home made patina solutions and processes to change the color and surface texture of the copper. This allows us to join the organic with the ordered. Sometimes this is a well crafted bowl, turned over to the natural whims of oxidation, sometimes a more flowing form with precise flame coloring. We create bowls, wall art, sculptures, flower pots, kitchen utensils, desk toys, and so many other things. In order to minimize waste, we work collaboratively on the designs, often creating jewelry by reimagining the off cuts from the larger pieces.
