Aimee Maschhoff creates bold, emotionally resonant portraits that challenge traditional portraiture through the use of unconventional skin tones. Her work explores identity, race, and emotion, inviting viewers to look beyond appearances and connect with deeper aspects of the subject.

Holding a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University, Maschhoff draws on her knowledge of human anatomy to combine structural accuracy with expressive color and texture. Working primarily in acrylics and mixed media, she creates layered surfaces that reflect the fluid nature of identity.

In 2024, she was selected as an Emerging Artist for the 4 Bridges Arts Festival. Her work has been exhibited in Tennessee, Georgia, New Hampshire, and New Jersey. She lives and works in Ooltewah, TN.
