An acrylic painter specializing in impressionistic pieces and abstracts, I punctuate with bold colors and experiment with gel, paper, & other media to add atmosphere and depth. This past year, I’ve been using spray paint and original & found object stencils by Hunter Bell as an underlayer for my larger pieces, with high-flow liquid & iridescent paint as an overlayer. Often portraying women and urban scenes, I paint from my heart & try to let the paint tell me what to do. I offer regular classes and workshops and have made so many wonderful friends who have become artists in their own right. My pieces are my flawed way of loving fiercely despite fear. I believe we should look beneath the surface.
