“Candy Mayer is a full time artist, using many different media and styles. She creates landscapes and still lifes in pastels, acrylics, pen & ink, and mixed media collage.

Candy moved to Birmingham, Alabama in June, 2023. She is adapting her art to a totally different landscape than the high desert of El Paso, TX, where she lived for twenty four years. The hills, trees & rivers of Alabama are a new inspiration for her. She has created landscapes from the area around her home in Helena. Her research of the architecture & landmarks of downtown Birmingham has lead to new mixed media collages.”
