Medium: Painting

My work consist of acrylic paintings that depicts jazz musicians. All my work is done with a palette knife creating thick textures and bold strokes. All my musicians have square heads making it my signature look. I mostly focus on the movement of the musicians and not so much on the details of the face. My goal is to evoke the same emotions you get from listening to jazz music from my paintings. I try accomplish this by using high energetic movement and bold colors throughout each painting.
