I’m Erika Prater from Oxford, Alabama and I am the hand and heart behind Erika Prater Ceramics. I have an Art degree from Jacksonville State University where my classes focused mostly on ceramic art. I create my functional pieces in my garage studio where I spent countless hours to practice and meticulously shaped and refine each vessel. My intention is to create a unique, one of a kind functional and decorative art that can can be appreciated by a collector or simply by a person that appreciates the beauty of handmade pot.
