Garrett has been working with glass for just over a decade now. With a new focus in the forms that bridge the gap between intentional and mistakes, he tries to show a growth that comes from struggle. In blown glass the forms need to be perfect from beginning to end so finding a space where we can control imperfections can be a difficult practice. The school of hard knocks is painful and frustrating unless you find a way to transmute the process into something beautiful.
