Prodigal Pottery is handmade in Chelsea, Alabama by women fleeing homelessness, domestic abuse and sex-trafficking. Prodigal Pottery is designed by head artist, Jamie Johnson, and is created by the team of artists with Prodigal Pottery who are women in need being employed, equipped and empowered through their work at Prodigal Pottery. Prodigal Pottery is a non-profit, with 100% of the sale of our pottery supporting the women we employ and serve. All of Prodigal Pottery is slab built and hand pressed with doily patterns. Our pottery is high fire stoneware and is oven and food safe.
