Photographer and artist based in Birmingham, Alabama. I developed an innovative technique in 2014 that merges my passion for photography with an affinity for abstract expression. By layering photographs with color, texture, and additional photographic elements, I produce distinctive abstract compositions that challenge conventional boundaries between mediums. My more recent body of work draws upon my reflections on the life cycle of cities and the individuals who inhabit them and their surrounding areas. Every generation leaves its indelible mark on a city by expanding its boundaries, reimagining buildings, and repurposing spaces to serve evolving needs. The energy generated by this continuous cycle of expansion and renewal becomes the heartbeat of every urban landscape. My latest series, Resilience, seeks to capture that energy, the enduring spirit of communities as they grow, adapt, and transform the spaces they call home.
