I am a mixed media oil painter exploring the intersection of light, material, and meaning. Working primarily with pure copper leaf and oil paint, I create one of a kind pieces that shift and evolve with their environment, reflecting the changing nature of both light and life. My subjects, often birds and animals, are less about representation and more about presence, serving as quiet conduits for connection, awareness, and reflection.

My process embraces both control and surrender, allowing natural oxidation and layered mark making to play an active role in each piece. The result is work that feels both grounded and luminous, where surface becomes metaphor and material carries emotional weight.
