Kristy Chouiniere Smith is a watercolor artist based in NW Georgia whose work features bold, saturated color, rich texture, layered depth, and is frequently embellished with metallics and thread. She happily floats between landscapes and abstracts, often putting brush to paper without forethought beyond color, and letting the paint decide what the painting wants to be. Many of her works also feature custom framing elements that she crafts with her laser once the painting is complete.
