I love clay for its simply organic composition. After over twenty years of working with clay i feel as though my exploration of the medium is just beginning. My work is inspired from my love of organic shapes , texture, asymmetry, color and imperfection. Through my art i hope to create works that nourish the soul, engage the senses, enhance the visual aesthetics of ones culinary experience and create a bit of joy in our daily. I use textiles to transfer texture onto the clay, glazes to color the pottery and all of my work is slab built or wheel thrown.
