Marysia Galbraith specializes in pottery with carved or stamped designs evocative of Arts and Crafts interpretations of the natural world. Her glazed stoneware has wonderful tactile properties—the smoothness of shiny surfaces and the curves of hand-carved designs. They are meant to be touched. While each pot works well as a single, special piece, Marysia also makes “unmatched sets,” unified by form, each with unique carved designs and different color glazes that play well together.

Since she first stepped foot in a pottery studio over 40 years ago, Marysia has been hooked. As she has refined her forms, surface designs, and glaze palette, she continues to explore the infinite possibilities of clay. Her current work features lids, stacked forms and whimsical handles to accent her nature-inspired carving.
