Sarah is an architect by day, and artist and serial hobbyist in her free time. An Alabama native, she’s been local to the Birmingham area for going on eight years, and started showing her art at markets and shows around town in 2024. Heavily influenced by the Impressionist movement, her work primarily focuses on soft still life scenes, finding the beauty of everyday objects. Her In Motion series takes those scenes and starts to break them open with vibrant colors and bold strokes that bring a sense of whimsy and movement to a subject that is traditionally static.
