A lover of the human spirit and body, I use Winsor and Newton watercolour paints (on Arches paper) to create a variety of bright and floral narrative portraits. I occasionally use permanent inks for a deeper vibrancy, and I also like to add layers of gold and silver leaf and sometimes collage, depending on each portrait. All paintings are matted and framed, although I am also currently experimenting with mounting paper to wood, without the need for glass or plexi-glass.
