Belle Prosser is an artist creating tonally rich cloudscapes residing in Huntsville, Alabama. Prosser studied oil painting at the University of Montevallo, where she earned a BFA in 2017. Her work embraces the technical challenge of exaggerating the ephemerality of cloud formations by utilizing the opaque medium of oil on canvas. Her paintings represent abstraction found in nature: the distortion of color and light that is projected in the sky above.
